Qualitative indicators of spring barley varieties (Hordeum vulgare L.) under different growing conditions

Purpose. To evaluate the quality indicators of spring barley seeds grown under different soil and climatic conditions. Methods. Laboratory, calculation statistical methods were used during research, analysis synthesis to draw conclusions. Results. As a result dependence indicators, namely: grain uniformity protein content, on zones growing conditions was revealed. Thus, ranged from 86.7% (high, Polissia) 95.1% (very high, Forest Steppe) in test years. In 2021, thanks favorable meteorological season, its increased by 4.3% Steppe, 4.6% Steppe almost 6.0% Polissia compared 2020. On average, bran­ches UIPVE 5.6%. The maximum values obtained for varieties ‘Avus’ – 93.9% (Steppe), ‘Novyi Svitanok’ 94.5–96.6% (Polissia, Steppe). Depending climate zone year experiment, content varied 10.9 (low, 13.4% (medium, ave­rage, this indicator decreased 2.5% 2021 2020, only it 2.6%. highest found ‘Istr’ 13.5–13.9% (Steppe ‘Hercules’ (Polissia). ‘Amadei’, combined both economic valuable traits. It revealed that, 2020–2021, 92.3% 95.4% (Forest 93.2% (Polissia); grains 11.8% 12.4% 11.6% influenced relevant zone.
